Messy Church in The Boldons

Messy Church is Church for all the family. It is church for all ages, based on creativity, hospitality and celebration. We meet as Messy Church once a month, on a Saturday morning at St Nicholas Church, Boldon Colliery.

A Messy Church Gathering typically includes a welcome, including some singing and dancing, a bible story, a creative time to explore the story theme through getting messy; a short celebration time involving story, prayer, song, games and similar; and a sit-down meal together at tables. It's lots of fun!

You don't need to book in advance, just turn up. You will be asked to fill in a short registration form on your first visit.
